Finance Minister Nicola Willis has announced that Budget 2025, referred to as the Growth Budget, will be delivered on Thursday, May 22.

According to Minister Willis, this Budget will advance the Government’s plan to grow the economy and improve incomes for New Zealanders.

The Budget aims to continue efforts for fiscal repair and navigate a path out of the deficits and debt left by the previous government.

Additionally, it will include measures to support economic growth and address New Zealand’s long-standing productivity challenges, focusing on enabling New Zealanders to earn more in the future.
